Plague Doctor and Madmen

Enlace a esta entrada 29 nov 11

Found some time last night to get some painting done, the Doc isn't completely finished (eyes and thing on his wrist need detailed) and the bases aren't finished but I was quite chuffed with them so thought I'd post them anyway :D

edit: Sorry about the poor photo.

They are rally good.
The only "but" is that the photo is too small to appreciate the work propperly. It looks like the painting is too fine, but can´t say anymore because of the photo´s size.
Anyway, congrats for what we can see. Looks cool.

Cheers for the kind words guys, I didn't realise the picture was so small! Updated with a larger one.

Very nice, the Doctor's coat is great!

Better size.

It looks so great. As all have said, the coat is wonderfull. Shadows and lights are amazing makingthe coat just look like real leather. Great work.
The only thing i don´t like is the eyes of the madguys. Are they completely white?

By the way. Great work. Congrats.;)

Aye they're not quite finished yet, got a few wee details to do here and there.

To be honest I have no idea how I managed the leather! The 'frayed' bits around the bottom were an accident, I got some paint on there while drybrushing the base! Lucky accident I suppose, I'd probably never be able to repeat it!

I can't take all the credit, I owe it all to Devlan Mud! I swear that wash is magical.

Yep. It´s a great stuf.
The washes just solved my life many times. :D. But i now use Judis Pulish (I don´t know if thats the word. I´ve found also "asphalt"..¿?..), cheaper than Devlan Mud and it work so good too.
I´m waiting to see them completely finished.
