Hello all ; glad to meet you.
To the creators : thanks and congratulations for your game
I have one silly question (well I guess I'll have more than one but for now I only have one)
Quoting the rulebook I downloaded :
When playing a basic game or the first game in a campaign, players may not purchase close combat weapons, ranged weapons or armors; instead, they must play with the characters as they appear in the profile in order to avoid unbalancing the game. Later, some characters are allowed to purchase other equipment options. For example, the Barnaboti from the Patricians faction may substitute their hand weapon for a pistol for an extra 10 points or for a sword for an extra 5 points.
So, still quoting the rulebook :
Any model in your squad with the Soldier descriptor may substitute the sword for a halberd with no additional cost. Any model in your squad with the Soldier Descriptor may substitute the sword for a musket with bayonet paying an extra 15 points in the model’s cost
Does that mean I can't have a soldier with musket if it's a basic game or did I misunderstood ? (English being a foreign language for me, I wouldn't be surprised to have misunderstood :D)
