Does this ability counter the second bullet in combat modifiers on pg. 48 or does it work in conjunction?
basically would you be at a +2 if you were in base contact with 3 enemies OR would you be at a 0 in base contact with 3 enemies??
Sorry these are the things I always struggle with (my logic is off sometimes) I was thinking it would be 0 but +2 would be awesome

I read it as if you would be +2
The first part of the description says .."adds +2 if it is in base contact with 3 or more enemy characters."
The second part of the ability description says "He also ignores all normal negative modifiers for fighting multiple foes at the same time".
The "also" implying both aspects of the rule apply in conjunction.
So the initial negative is ignored (giving a modifier of +/- 0 to the base stat) and then a +2 for the 3 or more attackers. Giving you Base stat +2 in that instance..
