Well, my Patricians are fully assembled and undercoated - my Ospitale are being assembled (unfortunately the Nurse broke at the ankle and is an utter bitch to repair), and I've Ordered some Rashaar as well (the Guild will have to wait LoL).

Of course finding time to paint the damn things is now my problem - so don't expect them to be done over night (I am a notoriously slow painter for myself, and I have a painting commission to finish before I can carry on with my own stuff).

Now I'm looking at terrain, I could go down the Terraclips route (which I really don't want to do) - for now I'm going the card and foamcore route. But in the future I'm going to do a small board properly.

I'm probably going to get some Manorhouse Italian Buildings, then build the canals and platforms myself.

Pricey but gorgeous. I don't have the time or the patience to copy the Masked Minstrels fantastic plaster creations unfortunately, nor do I have the time to scratch build - so I will have to "cheat".

Games of War have some nice "Italianesque" Buildings in their Pirate Supplies Section -

Which when painted right, in the right Canal based environment - might just do the trick IMHO!

But at the moment, even though the shipping is going to kill me - I'm thinking the Manorhouse Building would work out better for what I can "see" in my head.

Got a little frustrated with the painting commission I've been doing - so this fella jumped my own "que" to cheer me up - just a quicky paint job really, as I wasn't even in the mood for this (sorry about the picture I have "shakey hand" today) - still, my first Carnevale Miniature done - a Noble for the Patrician Faction.

I really like the shading in the mask!

Thankyou!

White basecoat, glaze with very thinned black wash with matt varnish added for depth, highlight with very pale grey, then highlight once again with pure white!

It's a little fiddly, but worth it.

I haven´t seen "in hand" the miniature of the Noble, but if those borders of the coat aren´t sculpt the painting of them is awesome.

I also like the colour election. They combine too good.
Congrats.^^

They are sculpted on fortunately.

Thanks - I thought the colours went well too.
