Scenery in promotional images

Link to this post 26 Oct 11

Hi! I noticed that in the Beasts of War's images the floorboards you used looked VERY much like WorldWorksGames' TerrainLinX Himmelveil Streets and in the (rather blurry) shot from Club Kritik the demo table seemed to consist from Himmelveil Streets plus Canals. Is my assumption correct?

It's just that I was (apparently) the first on the WWG forums to take notice of this game, and it wouldn't probably hurt to take better pics of your promotional WWG scenery (with Carnevale miniatures in it) and post them to the WWG site - primarily to show your TLX build but also (in a sneaky kind of way) to show off the miniatures.

Hi Silveri. You're totally right, the scenery we've used in those pictures and in the rulebook is World Work's Himmelveil tiles (the one with canals). We'll be publishing an article here in a few days with suggestions to build your own scenery, and World Works TerrainLinX is our advice for our players. So if you have any of those, they will be very handy in your games of Carnevale.

Talking about scenery... I know about something that will come soon and will be useful as hell for Carnevale. More news... soon. XD

Here's a TLX build I did for Malifaux, but should work in Carnevale as well:

BUT, after completing my TLX build, I actually wouldn't recommend TLX for Carnevale, but Terraclips with some custom-made tiles from TLX Himmelveil Canals.

..

Oh, and I really, REALLY recommend you to use a black (or brown) marker to color the white edges of your TLX terrain.

How do these TLX things work? From what I understood its a PDF you have to print and glue to something like cardboard?
