Buying equipment

Hi all - I'm going to be trying to introduce Carnevale to my club as soon as my stuf arrives (yay!). I have a number of rules questions, mostly about equipment:

1. When playing a campaign, am I correct in saying that squads can buy equipment between games using campaign points?

2. Is there any sort of restrictions on the equipment that a charcter can be given? For example, a pack of three pulcinelas and a pulcinela king armed with axes looks like a pretty brutal option. And it would look cool :D

3. Can equipment be swapped between characters between games?

As answers to your questions:
1.- That's exactly the case.
2.- No restriction whatsoever, unless the rules state anything different.
3.- Nope.

So characters are not just limited to the options given in their squad list?

I.E I could equip a female Barnaboti with a whip, for lashing those commoners (Think Empusa from Primal)

Yes, you could but her a whip (which would be really sexy!). But remember that this only happens in campaign mode.
