I suppose I should expand on this a but more, Finally got my Rulebook last friday (YAY!) and after reading through it I made my friend a Doctors List, (his list included the Alchemist Doctor with the Flameanta potions) Flame is a very brutal thing in that it ignores protection was it meant to be so powerful?
Also with Grenades being a 1d10 they literally blew up 2 of my guys, they seem like they should be an auto include on anything with at least shooting 3 since you can just chuck them out at anything you want.
Them with Spirit Bond we found it to be kind of cheesy that the only way you can try to get your guy back (short of stunning him or spending Karma to make the doctor reroll) to be a very hard thing to do, specially when they take over your Leader.
Hi Issalbotproto,
What where you playing with? I'm just curious :)
Yes, a flamethrower is supposed to be a killer. And I must add, that the Doctors of the Ospedale is a very hard faction to play against! (specially in your first games). Give yourself some room to get confortable with your own team playing style, and I'm sure you'll learn pretty soon how to avoid the good doctor's hardest tricks!
I have a question concering grenades are you suposed to buy it once and you get as meny grenades as you want in a game or do you have to buy a set amount, if I want grenades in a game and I buy one does that mean I can't use it more then once unless I buy more for that one game.
Its confusing because under range weapons the rules states that you count as having enough ammo for the whole game.
They seem powerful if you only have to pay 15 points for as meny as you can use in one game but that seems like how it works from the rule wording.
Timelapse,
You have to buy a set amount of grenades. When we talk about ammo, we're referring to those weapons that need reloadin, such as pistols, rifles or bows. I hope that helps :)
I was Actually playing with the Patrician Starter, and as I had 2 of my Barnabotis running up towards Timelapse's Wardens he chucked a grenade at them and they were never heard from again (sad day lol) But we actually did not know about the Templates rule with dexterity which probably would have saved them but that's neither here nor there.
As a whole we're really enjoying this game a lot, I'm just having a lot of trouble with the power packed into the Doctors of the Arsenal and the Alchemists at this point but I'll figure it out. :)
