It was a picture of one of these monsters that first drew me to this game and so it makes sense that it would be the first figure I paint. And, as a huge fan of Lovecraft, the Rashaar were an obvious choice of faction. The colors were chosen to be as similar as possable to the deep ones from "The Shadow over Innsmouth" and the cobblestone was made from green stuff modeling putty. Sadly though I have not mastered the art of miniature photography so these shots are not perfect. Criticism is welcome and I will post the rest of the squad as I paint it.

First of all, i wanted to congrats for the painting. But there are few things i wanted to suggest.
The fisrt is the mold lines. I think that on the rest of the band you should take care of that. You can see a huge line on the right arm of the Udgru, and with a simple cutter pass you cuold have solve that.
The second is that i think you should dilute more the paintings in order to not having so much grumes. Probably that will cause that you should pass 2 or 3 times more in any covering, but the final result will be better. Besides, you can play with degradates this way.
Finally, i think you should punt more care in the lining of the different parts of the mini. For example, the eyes are just white over the color of the skin. If you had made first a painting with black, and then the white, the expression of these eyes could be different. The same thing happen with the red lines of the gills.
The rest are all congratulations. I like too much the painting of the skin in it´s darkest color. The lights are very well apllied. And the combination of all the colours is too pretty for the mini.

Thank you for the praise and even more for the advice. Im always looking for new tips to mprove my painting abilities. I still have the second Rashaar to paint so I’ll try your suggestions on that one and see how it comes out.

Thank you, the rest of the faction box is almost finished and i'll post them as a group when they are complete. When im done with them I have some interesting ideas for some innsmouth/venice hybrid terrain to work on as well.
